Hello Delegates, Speakers, Sponsors and Exhibitors!

Welcome to Toronto.

On behalf of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society and the COS Annual Meeting Planning Committee, it gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the COS 2024 Annual Meeting and Exhibition.

We are thrilled to present exceptional scientific programming, featuring over 50 sessions across all subspecialty areas in ophthalmology. Highlights this year include the Symposium for Young Ophthalmologists and Residents; two accredited co-developed symposia; Women in Ophthalmology; and renowned keynote speakers from around the world, including the Harold Stein Innovator Lectureship with Dr. Kenneth Wright.

Additionally, there's a range of opportunities to earn Section 3 credits through various Surgical Skills Transfer Courses and Self-Assessment Programs, as well as during the CORMS session. Finally, Section 2 credits can be obtained by viewing the ever-growing e-poster platform and listening to top authors walk you through their poster.

Our dynamic Exhibition Hall provides an opportunity for you to reconnect with industry partners, explore the latest treatment options, and discover cutting-edge medical devices. Be sure to visit the COS booth, learn more about See the Possibilities and the Practice Resource Centre features. Back this year to round out the experience is our photo wall, and a photo booth too.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we kick off the meeting at our Welcome Reception on Thursday, May 30, at 6:00 p.m. It will be an excellent opportunity to network, forge new connections, and immerse yourself in the welcoming atmosphere of this evening. Don't forget to mark your calendar for the (members-only) Annual General Meeting, on Friday, May 31 at 12:45 p.m., where we'll delve into key organizational matters and chart the course for the future.
